The source files for the music are recorded or programed into PG Music's Power Tracks Pro, a sequencer and audio recorder, and Band in a Box, a program which allows selection or programming of styles for accompaniment by various instruments. The solo piano files have usually been generated directly as wave files, and do not have another specific file equivalent for these programs. Click the Download Source Files link. The zipped source files will be displayed.
You can select and save the files you wish in the directory you specify. In the dialogue box, select the save option and specify the directory to which you wish to direct the zipped file. Then use the unzip utility to display the files. If the files are actually displayed individually, create two windows - the files for downloading and an Explorer window. You can then select the files desired and drag and drop these files into the appropriate Explorer file with the mouse.
Power Tracks files have a .seq extension, and can be manipulated when loaded into that program. Band in a Box files usually have a .mgu extension, but there may be some associated .sty files which contain specific styles for that song not present in the BIAB program. These files will need to be in the same directory as the .mgu file in order to correctly configure BIAB to play the song and allow you to further configure it to your liking.
