Posterior Infarction

Posterior myocardial infarction will go unrecognized on a 12-lead ECG unless it is suspected in the presence of reciprocal anterior ST depression.   Demonstration of the typical ST changes required for thrombolysis requires a 15-lead ECG.   Lead placement is demonstrated, and you will have to scroll the graphics to see the entire illustration.   ECG changes are discussed.
